Growing relationships in a thoughtful community . . .

I have developed an abiding appreciation for experiential and academically rigorous learning. I am a naturally curious person. I am continuing a path of life-long learning by immersing myself in a liberal arts college community. I am drawn to a liberal arts experience because it provides a holistic learning opportunity. In several respects, an undergraduate liberal arts curriculum has been a logical progression from my Waldorf education. I learn more when I am surrounded by peers who think and learn differently than me. In fact, I believe that learning happens most effectively in a diverse, open-minded ecosystem. Moreover, the relationships and community within and beyond the classroom will prepare me to think globally and to be a thoughtful, intentional person. I appreciate working closely with professors, discussing topics beyond my areas of specific interest, learning with my peers, and diving into writing and research projects which are inspired by my own creativity.
